It was written and performed by the british comedy group Monty Python. This story is inspired by King Arthur's Quest for the Holy Grail with his Knights of the round table. This is not the only movie that has been done by the Monty Python group. They also made "Monty Python The life of Brian". But more importantly this movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail was selected in 2011 as the second-best comedy of all time in the ABC special.
